The Leftovers of Summer Series
Monday August 31st - Wednesday September 2nd

Before summer slips away, let's turn its treasures into something worth keeping!

Join us at The Spot for a creative morning series inspired by everything we've collected over the summer—from seashells and camp t-shirts to found objects and everyday materials. Each day features a different hands-on project that encourages creativity, imagination, and seeing ordinary things in new ways. Kids will create meaningful keepsakes while exploring art, design, and the joy of making something beautiful from what they already have.

This listing is for all 3 days. If you would like to purchase a single day pass - please see additional single day listing. 

Camp details:

  • Rising 3rd–5th graders
  • 9:30 AM–12:00 PM
  • $200 per participant
  • The Spot, 24 West Oak Street, Basking Ridge

Please bring:

  • Water bottle
  • Nut-free snack
  • Day 1 - Participants should bring a bag of seashells or other found beachy items (driftwood, seaglass, seaweed etc). Day 2 - Participants should bring 1-3 old camp tshirts that you don’t need anymore and don’t mind getting cut up and repurposed. Day 3 - Bring an object that you don’t need anymore that you want to use for printmaking. It can be anything from a leaf to a spatula, but something small that you can fit in your hand. Please make sure to not send anything valuable as we will be using them all as craft supplies and they will not be returned.
